Thursday 1/30

Yesterday Sir & I had a great day. We went to Walmart to get a gift for a birthday party we are going to this weekend. Dropped off books at the library, dropped off the rent check, then went to the farmers market. I'm so excited we got homemade tamales & a giant jar of homemade salsa. Dad was home when we got there. He had a big briefing at 4pm so he was off work till 2:30. We had tamales for lunch and watched Chuck. He also filed our taxes early. What a relief when we get our refund we will be able to pay off one of our big loans :) what a great day it will be. After a nice afternoon with dad he went back to work. Sir & I went to Hastings and got The Big Bang Theory and a new book for Sir & I. After our trip we took a walk when we got home. We played and listened to music after our walk. It was a great day. Dad didn't come home till late so it was just Sir & I for dinner. Sir wasn't to thrilled with me feeding him. He only ate a little bit so he just got a bath, nursed and fell asleep. When dad got home I made dinner & we watched The Big Bang. Then it was bedtime. It was a great day. Here are pics.

Wednesday 1/29

Yesterday was a good day. Sir had morning coffee with dad...no we did not really give him coffee. He likes to sit with dad while he drinks coffee and touch the mug. Dad & sir enjoy this morning time together usually watching a kids movie. It's sweet to see them. After dad left for work sir & I did our usual morning story time/play time/try to get him to nap. Before all that we went to walmart to get more coffee heaven forbid we run out. Lol. After a lovely lunch I started my post pregnancy boot camp workout. 18minutes was hard to do. Sir woke up part way through and I had to let him sit in his chair next to me while I finished. FYI there are not enough yoga mats in the world to make it comfortable to workout on a tile floor. My back is killing me. After my workout Sir & I played on his mat and jammed out to some iTunes Radio. It was fun singing. He even pulled himself up from his belly to a seated position. Of course when I tried to get him to do it again for the camera he wouldn't do it. Dad came home early & we had dinner and watched a show Black Sails on Stars channel. It's a pirate show it's ok. After it was over it was bedtime so sir & I hit the hay. It was definatly a fun day. Here are pics.

Tuesday 1/28

Tuesday Sir & I finally made it to story time at the library. First we drove on post to pick up my prescriptions. We went to target after to get him some more wipes, soap, and new pacifiers. He has never really taken one but dad wanted me to have ones on hand just in case. All the other ones we had only went up to 3 months. After that I got a hazelnut frappichino from Starbucks. Yum! Then we headed to the library. There were a lot of other kids there. Sir really enjoyed the song time and watching the other kids run around. It was nice to get out of the house. We didn't stay for the stories because Sir was getting tired. We went home and he napped on the way home and in his car seat in the house for a while. When he woke up he ate and slept in my arms till 2:30. We took an afternoon walk then dad got home around 4:30. Sir had applesauce for dinner and we watched some of the state of the union. I wasn't interested but dad and I got to cuddle while sir slept. We also had a nice chat with Robbie. Tuesday was a fun and busy day. Here are pics.

Monday 1/27

Monday was rough as most Mondays are. Sir cuddled with dad while he ate breakfast. We spent our morning reading and playing. After our afternoon walk sir got super fussy. No idea what his problem was but I gave him his mesh teether with some frozen applesauce and that seemed to help. He def likes applesauce. For some reason I was just super cranky on Monday. After I begrudgingly cooked dinner we all ate together. Sir was still cranky so dad had to hold him. Sir as I have said is fascinated with hot/cold drinks. He spilled the whole can of sprite on the floor. It was funny for a second until I had to clean it up. We were all pretty tired so we all were in bed by 6pm. I'm just glad all days are not as a exhausting as Monday's. Here are pics.

Lazy weekend

We've been a bit lazy this weekend. We rented the last season of Dexter from Hastings yesterday and have been watching it all weekend. We managed to finish all four discs today and turn them in. We got at $9 credit for turning them in today :) yesterday we went to the local swap meet..lots of interesting people. We got a bottle of yummy homemade hit sauce for $5 which we ended up eating all of the same day. There were lots of people commenting on how cute Sir was some chick even said she wanted to 'steal that baby' yeah over my dead body crazy lady. Even the lady at Hastings was commenting on how cute he was and how much he looked like his dad. Is it sad that I'm a bit cranky about how often this comment is made. I mean I carried him for 9months was sick, had to prick my finger multipul times a day, gave up sweets, got cut open like a fish and he comes out looking exactly like his dad and nothing like me. Ugh! At least he has my hair and toes right? Anywho back on track. So after te meet we went to Hastings and rented Dexter then dad ran into Fry's to get salsa and sushi for lunch. Came home ate all the salsa and sushi and watched Dexter. Dad was super awesome and did a deep clean of our bathroom while sir & I rested. Sir got peas again for dinner and dad & I had leftovers. I tried to get Sir to sleep in his pack n play and he did for about 15minites then he woke up realized I was not right next to him and freaked out. So back in bed with me it was. I just hope he won't be sleeping with us until he is 12. I love cuddling and it's just easier to have him next to us at night. I just hope it won't bite us in the butt later on. 

Today we had great intentions of going to church but it didn't happen. We did however get our bedroom nice and clean. Sir was very interested in what we were doing. I def do not take as good of care of the house as I should. I get lazy and it's just so big compared to our apartment in manhattan. In manhattan I cleaned the whole place at least once a week. Now I'm lucky if the house gets cleaned once a month. We ended up finishing Dexter before we had dinner. Sir had peas again he seems to be getting the hang of eating. Dad seems to thinks this means he can shove whatever he wants intos Sir's mouth. Like yesterday he seriously gave him a small spoonful of sprite. Really dad?? And today he let him chew a piece of popcorn. Popcorn really? Ugh! I hope dad doesn't turn our kid into a fatty. Sir & dad did have fun dancing around the house signing what does the Charles say. Sir just squealed and had a great time. It's been a great weekend epically since dad was not holed up in his room playing games all weekend. I enjoy spending time with him.
