Thanksgiving & the week of

Sooo... Yeah I haven't blogged this week shame on me. On Wednesday I had to make a last minute run to the store. I went to target and got some groceries and other things. Of course I stopped for a Starbucks. Oh how I love Starbucks. A really nice lady offered to help load the groceries in our car. Dad got home early from work an we enjoyed an afternoon of TV watching and playing with Sir. Thanksgiving day we (I) stayed in my pj's most of the day. I got up early and put breakfast in the oven and enjoyed a nice cup of coffee and some bible reading before Sir and dad woke up. We put up our Christmas tree and I wrapped presents. Amazon had a nice deal buy a book get 30% off so I got Sir a set of board books and me The Thief of Always by Clive Barker it's my favorite book I remover reading in 5th grade about a minster house. I made green bean casserole for the dinner we went to and we headed out around 4:45. It was a nice dinner but not nearly as tasty as my moms or Dan's moms thanksgiving dinners. We had a nice time hanging out but I was glad to be home. It was later than we usually stay out and past Sir's bedtime so it took some work to get him down. Yesterday we hung out at home no Black Friday for us I wouldn't go out if you paid me. So we hung out at home I made a sausage casserole for breakfast and made homemade meatballs for dinner for the first time. They turned out ok but still a but pink. I hate hate hate to eat neat if it's pink but dad was in a hurry to go put and get a haircut so I picked around the pink. Had a nice chat with my lovely sister and while dad went out Sir only wanted to be held. I kept tiring to put him down once he was asleep to clean the kitchen but no. Everytime I put him down he woke up and cried. So I didn't get the kitchen clean. Now that we have a real house one of my biggest pet peves is not having a clean kitchen. It especially bugs me if it's not clean. Eire bed because then I will have to clean while making breakfast. After dad got his haircut he went to best buy and got a super cool tripod for my camera that way we can take family photos. Even better it was on sale. I spent the morning cleaning dishes while making pancakes. Dad had to drop his truck off today because it's been making funny noises and leaking. And of course it's something redicliously expensive. The tune up is 500 and the water pump which is leaking is 900. But we just got an oil change for now. Ugh! I guess that's what happens when vehicles get older plus dealerships charge wayyyyyy to much. Anyway he took his truck in and the shuttle wasn't running that early so Sir and I went to go pick him up then we went to target. Sir got a new toy and we got a sprial ham on sale. So excited hopefully it will last a while. I of course got Starbucks mhh chai tea latter. I plan on trying to make my own since it is a lot cheaper than buying it all the time. Sir loves his new toy and we plan on taking Christmas pictures today so we can print cards and get then sent out as soon as possible. Anyhow this post is super long today teach me to not blog for three days. Enjoy these Picts from the last few days. I will post Picts from today in another post.

Almost Turkey Day

So i haven't blogged I've been busy with Charles and making constant trips to target and walmart before all this Black Friday mess starts. Charles rolled over yesterday and I finally got it on video I'm so proud of him. Now everytime I put him down he rolls. Oh boy we might be in trouble. He has been sleeping better at night except for last night but that was because his dad didn't come to bed till late. He was working on his paper and presentation. Yesterday Charles hung out on his mat while I worked on canvases for Christmas. I ran out of Mod Podge after I had already been to walmart so We had to back today to get some. We went to target and I got one of Charles Christmas presents because it was only sale. I also got a present for the twins. It's been a busy morning today now I'm having lunch and sir is sleeping. I love the weekend!

Got busy yesterday with a screaming sir so I didn't blog. All he wanted to do yesterday was eat which later around 7pm lead to insane screaming from gas. Daddy was fabulous he knew just what to do. Sir burped, ate again, and fell asleep. Today has been cold and rainy so we spent the day at home. I made my first batch of homemade bread it was fun but I made a giant mess in the kitchen. It took a long time but man oh man was it just delicious one loaf is already gone. The rolls did not turn out but the two loaves did and they are fabulous. For dinner I made yummy crockpot ham soup so it was fresh bread and ham soup for dinner. I got to do some much needed reading time while Sir slept on my chest. Daddy did some gaming and I also had my weekly chat with my mom. So far it's been a great Saturday. On a good note sir only woke up three times last night. We all got some much needed sleep for once. I hope that continues tonight. Right now daddy is being a rock star and reading books to Sir while they hand out in his play pen. Wish the weekend was longer but I'm so glad thanksgiving is next week dad had a four day :) here are Picts from yesterday and today.
